How to Play
Objective
Pocket all your designated balls (solids 1-7 or stripes 9-15) then legally pocket the 8-ball to win.
Break & Ball Assignment
- The first player to legally pocket a ball after the break claims that group
- If you pocket balls on the break, you can choose your group
- If no ball is pocketed, the table remains open
Legal Shot
- You must hit one of your own balls first
- After contact, any ball must reach a cushion or be pocketed
- Failing to do so is a foul — opponent gets ball-in-hand
Fouls
- Scratching (cue ball pocketed) — opponent places ball anywhere
- Hitting opponent's ball first
- Not hitting any ball
- Pocketing the 8-ball before clearing your group = instant loss
Controls
- Click & Drag: Aim the cue stick — drag further for more power
- Release: Shoot the cue ball
- Right-click / Cancel: Reset your aim
- Power Meter: Shows shot strength on the left
Game Modes
- Play with AI: Practice against an AI opponent (Easy/Medium/Hard/Expert)
- Normal: Match with real players, no NIM at stake
- Nimiq Match: Competitive play — entry fee in NIM, winner takes the pot
Winning
- Pocket all your balls, then legally sink the 8-ball
- Pocketing the 8-ball in the wrong pocket or early = loss
- In NIM matches, the winner earns NIM from the prize pool
